What and How to study for 2015 post utme

To our Jambites
There has been alot of questions, some students are asking about the cut-off mark of various institutions they applied for, others are inquiring on how competitive their choice department is and their chances of getting admitted. I give an answer to your questions:
The admission percentage for last year's postume was very high, this was due to the fact that the number of students who sat for the putme exam was very small due to mass failure in jamb. But this year's jamb was different. A huge percentage of candidates passed the cut-off for the institution they applied for.Leaving you with one fact that the putme will be highly contested. And as a result of this, all departments in the universities will be competitive. Those departments that students despise and call minor will now be admired, all courses this time will be highly competitive.
 So what are your chances?
All candidates have equal chances, the jamb is more or less a ticket to the screening exercise(putme). If you scored 200 and above your chances are good and high.
 So what should students do?
Students who scored 200 and above should start serious preparation for their putme, this years exam will be keenly contested.

As a result of this development, naijastudentsblog will henceforth be making updates on the forth coming exam and most importantly I will be publishing articles on how students can prepare better and more efficiently for the exam.
